My Story
Memory from Central - hanging out with the computer club.. That lead to Building -->theLink<-- BBS in 1984 at central on my apple //e .. which got me started as a nerd. That lead to my getting an engineering degree, writing a 3d blast design modelling simulation system during and after university.. did a stint of 3d computer animation for an ad agency in Toronto and moved to Calgary to get close to the mountains for mountain biking and skiing. Joined a tech startup Pandell as first employee, helped scale an environmental company Matrix Solutions to 800 people from 40 as principal director knowledge & technology.. Started Advanced Analytics and AI company Menome Technologies in 2016 where we built a system called dataLink that derived critical insights from enterprise datasets using graph databases and NLP/ML methods. That company was acquired by Arcurve in 2020 to found the Advanced Analytics and AI/ML team. Exceeded earn out targets over 3 years - became Strategic Advisor AI/ML for Arcurve. Joined Malmo Sweden Based Neo4j in 2025 as Solutions Engineer working with massive global scale AI systems through helping clients design context models to ground LLMs for agentic AI use cases... I have fun playing in my daughters rock band, skiing with my wife Wendie and having an awesome time mountain biking whenever I can get away with it...
